A romantic comedy that tries very hard but just falls flat. Playing up the Jane Austen angle so you can imagine that it's just going to follow the basic steps of one of those stories. They try to make a twist at the end but it's not really a surprise.

Jennifer Coolidge can be funny, but she's also pretty grating at times. Bret McKenzie as a romantic lead? Who'd have thought?

Keri Russell's character is just... so pathetic.
