Another title I've heard of a lot but never bothered to check out. Well it seems kind of dated now, these nerd stereotypes are all sort of cool now. So who knows, maybe this film helped make that a reality. Somehow I doubt it though.

I can see why people from the 80's might have fond memories of it. But apart from being wonderfully politically incorrect it's also very dated. Not just because of the fashion or the technology the nerds are into but the humour and writing. Pixar have made a children's film about the exact same story that's somehow more sophisticated.

The scene where they were spying on the sorority house was really off-putting. Seems like they needed an excuse to get an R rating, but it just makes all the main characters really creepy and gross.

Anyway. I've seen it now. It doesn't play very well today.
