I never though I'd say a Paul Verhoeven film had subtly but compared to this, the social satire in his films is almost elegant.

So, years before The Hunger Games we had Running Man. A film I have not seen in a long time and only vaguely remember the premise. It's a gloriously 80's dystopian future. I see Paula Abdul was the choreographer for those dancers, hah.
