Today we have lost a true giant of the film world. To honor the great Ray Harryhausen I watched this today and listened to the man himself talk me through the creation of the film on the very informative bluray commentary track.

The first thing he talks about is how todays action films are all so dark and perhaps the reason his films have stood the test of time so well is that they are full of hope and adventure. Amen to that Ray. Your legacy will live forever.
