Despite the title, this is very much and ensemble cast and they are all terrific. This is a fun little British comedy drama. I especially liked the two bored girls and all the trouble they cause purposefully and inadvertently cause for the other local residence and visitors.

This is definitely one of Stephen Frears lighter films, not in terms of technique, writing or acting but certainly less grand in ambition than The Queen or even Cheri. Ultimately I didn't find it that memorable but it comes recommended as an amusing and well made diversion, mainly to watch the cast.
