Watched the "Final Cut" version on bluray. Looks very pretty. Growing up our video library only had the Directors cut, so I never knew there was voice over narration until it was part of a film course for noir (it is always part of some film course or another) and they played some and my mind melted a little bit.

Such an amazing looking film. Again we see Ridley Scott cramming the frame with as much atmosphere as possible. So many lens flares too. Awesome.

Once you are used to the wonder of the imagery though it ends up being quite a slow paced film at the start there. At least thats how it played tonight, I think I'm tired too though.

Still, one of the all time best sci-fi films and just films in general, looking top notch. Great to catch up with.
